I visited about 6 month ago, one young dentists got assigned to me and she was unprofessional about handling teeth, using instruments at high speed without Caring about pain.
After check she said your one jaw is half rotten and it will be extracted, “you won’t miss it”. And another one jaw having sensitivity will be fixed after RCT.
Plus they checked teeth for gingivitis, created 1600 Euro estimate for cleaning.
1. I had second opinion from dentists and they said no need to extract RCT will fix it plus on another jaw can be fixed by just using sensitivity toothpastes.
2. The gingivitis can be found on more than 80% of population so any doctor can make money by prescribing costly cleaning.
3. I went to another dentist they did RCT on one jaw and it looks good after 4 months plus there was no need for deep cleaning. They just did normal cleaning and it should followed every six months.
Finally I found Dental Clinics is just making money without caring about patient.
Not recommended at all.

My dislike is regarding the lack of clarity when it comes to what you are paying for and why. As an example, once I (supposedly) had a gum issue and the huiarts told me to see a dental hygienist. I walked in, explained the situation to the receptionist who called the technician. She examined my mouth for no more than 5 minutes and did absolutely nothing. A few days later, I simply received an invoice for 45 Euro. When I called and asked for an explanation, the receptionist (who failed to inform me well in the first place) said that was the price for 15 minutes of cleaning (which cleaning, again?).
The problem is not the price: it's the surprise, especially when no solution or concrete service is provided. There was no cleaning, no diagnose was provided, and the "consultation" lasted 5 minutes. I felt scammed.
Patients should be clearly informed of what they are paying for and why. And that should happen in advance, so people can choose if they want to do it or not.
